Network screening

Spatial Risk

Collision probability per road segment, predicted from road characteristics. The static baseline layer of the DriveFactor risk engine.

Stockton-on-Tees · Collision risk relative to network average

Explanation

Each road segment is coloured by its estimated collision risk relative to the network average. Segments are assessed using their road characteristics and scored at segment-level. Corridors, roads and regional insights are also possible.

Red segments represent the highest-risk roads on the network. The colour scale is relative, so the map immediately highlights where the greatest concentrations of risk sit across a given area and which routes warrant closer investigation.

The map is intended as a baseline risk reference. It reflects structural, long-run risk and does not change with time of day or traffic conditions. For a time-sensitive view, see the Dynamic Road Risk product.
